Soil EC 3100
EC3100 is the model that launched on-the-go soil mapping. With its dual-depth arrays and rugged reliability, it has become the standard for commercial EC mappers around the world. From the welded tubular steel framework of the implement to the six heavy-duty coulter-electrodes, it’s readily apparent this machine is built for hard-nosed fieldwork. And what isn’t visible is even more impressive—proven electrical arrays that are free from metal interference, along with data recording that produces the most accurate soil EC information. It easily handles tilled or untilled fields—and when it comes time to head to the next field, trailer-type hub assemblies allow it to be towed at highway speeds.
EC maps relate to soil texture and salinity—a fact that has been verified by extensive scientific research. Where the soil EC map shows the soil changes—you will find a change at that location.
And the mapping only needs to be done once, unless you do significant soil moving. EC maps made a decade apart show the same soil management zones.
The Veris 3100 generates two sets of maps, a topsoil map from 0-12" (30 cm) and one of the soil profile 0-36” (91 cm). While uses vary, the top layer is often used for soil sample site selection, and the deeper map for variable rate populations and nitrogen management.
Veris 2000XA - Vineyard/Orchard
The Veris 2000XA has many of the proven features of the 3100, but in a smaller, single array configuration. It’s designed for usage with ATV’s (500 cc or larger), and in applications where space is limited, such as vineyards. The wheelbase and coulter-electrode spacing is designed to straddle 30” (76 cm) row crops, allowing EC mapping of emerged crops. With its extendable wings, a deeper EC map is achieved with a second pass over the field. The rugged welded steel framework and heavy-duty coulter-electrodes are built to handle tough conditions. And it has the features Veris EC systems are famous for—its proven electrical array is free from metal interference, and there is no need to null or calibrate any of the settings

Veris QUAD 2800 - ATV/UTV
The new Q2800 combines the low draft requirement of the Q1000 with the dual depth capabilities of the 3100 and 3150. It features proven Veris EC mapping, but in a lighter weight design—perfect for use with an ATV/quad bike and for shipping anywhere in the world. Its spring steel tine-mounted disks follow ground contours and absorb rocks. 15” (38cm) diameter disks provide good soil contact in light residue and tilled soil. And it has the features Veris EC systems are famous for—its proven electrical array is free from metal interference, and there is no need to null or calibrate any of the settings.
